Archer is seeking a Senior Staff Development Engineer to lead engineering enablement and developer productivity across the organization. This role focuses on onboarding, mentorship, and building scalable development programs to help engineers grow and perform at their best.

Role Overview

You will design and run programs for onboarding, mentorship, career development, and performance feedback. You will also build internal tooling and documentation that supports engineers, and partner with engineering leaders to define learning paths, metrics, and effective enablement strategies.

What You'll Do

Design and implement onboarding and mentorship programs for new and existing engineers
Develop and maintain internal tooling and documentation to improve developer productivity and code quality
Collaborate with engineering leaders to define career ladders, learning paths, and success metrics
Coach engineers, support performance reviews, and assist with career planning
Promote engineering best practices and foster a culture of learning and collaboration

Qualifications

Strong software development background with 6+ years of experience
Proven experience in developer enablement, mentoring, and engineering leadership
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with software development lifecycle, CI/CD, and engineering tooling
