Senior Network Engineer at Archer

Archer is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to design, deploy, and support our enterprise network infrastructure. This on-site role is based in San Jose, California, United States.

Role Overview

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain Archer's network platforms to ensure reliability, performance, and security across our environments. You will collaborate with IT, security, and operations teams to support growing needs and scale.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain routing and switching infrastructure on enterprise devices
Manage routing protocols including BGP and OSPF
Implement and monitor VPN connections and remote access
Configure and manage firewalls and security policies
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot incidents, and perform capacity planning
Document topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
Collaborate with security and IT teams on incident response and disaster recovery

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in enterprise networking
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF
Experience with VPN technologies and firewall systems
Hands-on experience with Cisco devices and IOS
Familiarity with WAN and LAN architectures and network security concepts
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
BS or BA in Computer Science, Networking, or related field
