Overview

As a Senior Engineer in Structural Analysis at Archer, you will lead structural analysis efforts to validate designs, optimize performance, and ensure reliability across products. You will collaborate cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and reliability teams to deliver robust, compliant solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute structural analysis projects for mechanical systems and components
• Develop and validate finite element models to predict stresses, deformations, and natural frequencies
• Interpret analysis results and provide design recommendations to optimize performance
• Collaborate with design engineers to iterate concepts and validate with testing
• Develop and maintain documentation, reports, and acceptance criteria
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in structural analysis and FEA
• Proficiency with FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, Altair HyperWorks) and CAD software
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for reliability
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
