Job Description
Archer is seeking a Senior CNC Programmer & Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Huntington Beach, California. This on-site role focuses on advanced CNC programming, setup, and machining of precision components. You will work with engineering to optimize tool paths, fixturing, and process parameters to ensure parts meet specifications.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC milling and turning centers
- Develop and optimize tool paths and fixturing
- Inspect parts, document processes, and maintain program documentation
- Collaborate with engineers to improve manufacturing processes and tolerances
- Troubleshoot quality and production issues, contribute to continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Significant experience in CNC programming and machining
- Proficiency with CNC controls and CAM software
- Strong problem solving and attention to detail
- Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
