You will define system-level interfaces, drive integration plans, troubleshoot complex integration issues, and contribute to architectural decisions that enable safe, scalable flight control systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead systems integration activities for flight control software across platforms and simulators.
  • Define and maintain system interfaces between flight software, autopilot firmware, and hardware components.
  • Collaborate with software teams on architecture, verification, and validation plans.
  • Develop and maintain integration test plans including HIL/SIL testing.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards and security best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 7+ years of experience in flight control software or avionics systems.
  • Strong experience in embedded systems and real-time software development (C/C++).
  • Hands-on experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex integration programs.
  • Familiarity with aviation safety standards and DO-178C/DO-254 is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence architecture decisions.
