Archer is seeking an Engineering Finance Manager to lead financial planning and analysis for its engineering initiatives. This role partners with engineering leadership to build budgets, forecasts, and financial models that inform product strategy and technology investments.

Role overview

As the Engineering Finance Manager, you will partner with engineering leadership to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models that support product and technology initiatives. You will own the quarterly and annual budgeting processes, perform scenario analyses, and provide clear financial insights to executives.

Responsibilities

Partner with engineering leadership to understand product roadmaps and cost structures
Build and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts for engineering initiatives
Own headcount planning, expense tracking, and variance analysis
Conduct pricing analysis and evaluate ROI of engineering projects
Deliver regular financial reporting and dashboards to executives
Support strategic decision-making through scenario planning and KPI analysis

Qualifications

5+ years of FP&A or finance experience supporting engineering or product teams
Strong financial modeling skills; advanced Excel; SQL/BI tools a plus
Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
Experience in tech or SaaS environments is a plus
