Role Overview:

  • We’re looking for a dynamic Product Trainer to join our Enablement team and take ownership of training and enablement for AppZen’s customer-facing functions. In this role, you will design and deliver engaging learning experiences that help teams understand, position, and maximize the value of AppZen’s products— including Expense Audit, Autonomous AP, Mastermind, and related AI modules. You’ll work closely with Product, Product Marketing, Enablement, and Customer Success to turn complex AI-driven capabilities into clear, actionable knowledge that empowers our teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • 1. Product Training & Enablement
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive product enablement programs for Sales, Solution Consulting, Customer Success, Implementation, and Support teams.
  • Design interactive training modules on product capabilities, workflows, use cases, and integrations (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday).
  • Lead live enablement sessions , webinars, and product deep-dives for new features, releases, and major updates.
  • Partner with Product Management and Product Marketing to translate release notes and roadmaps into clear, value-driven narratives.
  • 2. Content Creation & Knowledge Management
  • Create and maintain training assets such as presentations, demo scripts, feature guides, and self-paced LMS modules.
  • Curate and manage the product enablement repository(e.g., Confluence, High spot, Guru, or similar), ensuring all materials are current and easily accessible. Develop certification programs or learning paths for customer-facing roles.
  • 3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Enablement and Revenue Operations to identify skill gaps and training priorities aligned with GTM goals.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Implementation to ensure consistent messaging and product best practices across all customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to stay informed about product evolution and future roadmap direction.
  • 4. Continuous Improvement & Measurement
  • Gather learner feedback, analyse training effectiveness, and continuously improve delivery formats and content quality.
  • Track key metrics, including training participation, certification completion, and the impact of product adoption.
  • Introduce data-driven insights to improve the enablement lifecycle and optimize training ROI
  • Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Product Training, Enablement, or Learning & Development within a SaaS or enterprise software company.
  • Proven track record of building and delivering product training that drives measurable outcomes for GTM or Customer Success teams.
  • Excellent storytelling, facilitation, and presentation skills, especially for complex software and AI solutions.
  • Experience with enablement platforms (e.g., Highspot, Lessonly, Seismic, or similar).
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Marketing, and Revenue teams.
  • Preferred Experience working in FinTech, Spend Management, or AI Automation environments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise ERP systems such as Oracle, Workday, SAP, or Coupa.
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks (ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, etc.).
  • Certification in Instructional Design, Facilitation, or Learning Technologies is a plus.
  • What Success Looks Like:

  • Customer-facing teams demonstrate deep product fluency and confidently position.
  • New feature rollouts are effectively enabled with timely, engaging, and measurable learning experiences.
  • Product training drives improved sales effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and retention metrics.
  • A scalable enablement framework supports global growth and onboarding for all GTM functions.
