One of Appodeal’s products is AppGrowth: AppGrowth Gives User Acquisition Professionals Performance, Unique Audiences and Efficient Buying.The Appgrowth team is looking for a Lead of Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously define initiatives, build and maintain the Product roadmap to support business goals.• Designing the Engineering strategy to align with the company’s product and business goals.• Managing platform stability to minimize downtime and ensure the company’s business continuity.• Guiding the product development and innovation processes to drive growth and success for the company.• Implementing effective cost management strategies to optimize technical expenses and drive business growth.• Measuring product and technical teams’ performance and success using key business metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.• Developing and maintaining relationships with technology partners, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure the company has access to the latest technology and innovations.• Building and managing high-performing product and engineering teams by recruiting, training, and developing top talent.• Serving as a liaison between the technical and business teams to ensure a shared understanding of goals, timelines, and resource needs.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience.• Good level of English.• Deep understanding of data processing and management.• Highly technical software engineering background with a hands-on leadership style.• Proven track record of successfully building software products.• Ability to mentor and lead technical talent.• Ability to conduct technological analyses and research.• Excellent communication skills.• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment and able to shift requirements.• Based in Barcelona, Spain or ready for relocation.• Strong Python expertise for engineering scalable and maintainable solutions.• Experience with distributed systems, streaming data (Kafka), orchestration (Airflow), and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevOps collaboration.
