Appnovation Technologies is seeking a Salesforce Data Cloud Engineer to join our Vancouver-based team. This role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines using Salesforce Data Cloud to enable data-driven decision making across the organization.

Role overview

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and integrations using Salesforce Data Cloud
Collaborate with data architects, data scientists, and product teams to model data for analytics and governance
Implement ETL/ELT processes and ensure data quality, lineage, and security
Optimize performance, scalability, and cost of data processing solutions
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
Document architectures, data models, and processes for governance and knowledge sharing

Responsibilities

Build and maintain data models and schemas for analytics and reporting
Ingest data from Salesforce and external sources into Salesforce Data Cloud
Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting
Work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and modern data tooling
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven features

Qualifications

5+ years of data engineering or related experience
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP/Data Cloud)
Strong SQL and Python skills; familiarity with data modeling and governance
Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Nice to have

Salesforce ecosystem experience, Spark, Snowflake, or related data tools
