Application Security Engineer - Mid-Atlantic region (Remote in VA, MD, PA, NC, DE, NJ, or DC)

📋 Description

• Implement, operationalize, and troubleshoot Black Duck and Checkmarx.
• CI/CD pipelines and tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab Runners, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Full-stack software engineering experience with modern tech and architectures.
• Strong scripting and automation in one or more languages.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, threat modeling, and secure SDLC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of security engineering experience in information security.
• Proficiency with SAST tools (Black Duck, Checkmarx).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab Runners, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Strong scripting and automation experience in one or more programming languages.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, threat modeling, and secure SDLC.
