Senior Appian Developer at Appian Corporation, based in McLean, Virginia. You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise Appian applications and integrations to deliver scalable business processes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Appian applications using SAIL, interfaces, data models, and plug-ins.
Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into robust Appian solutions.
Build and manage integrations with REST/SOAP services, middleware, and external systems.
Lead technical design discussions, perform code reviews, and ensure security, performance, and reliability.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to architecture decisions.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Appian Developer with hands-on project delivery.
Strong expertise in Appian components: SAIL, Interfaces, Data Types/CDTs, Process Models, and Integrations.
Experience building integrations via RESTful APIs, web services, OAuth/SSO.
Solid SQL/database knowledge and data modeling skills.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud deployments of Appian, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
