Partner Sales Manager (Public Sector) – Appian Corporation
Job Description
Appian is seeking a results-oriented Partner Sales Manager to build and manage strategic partnerships with government agencies, system integrators, and other partners to drive revenue growth and successful deployment of the Appian low-code platform within public sector organizations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a public sector partner strategy and go-to-market plan to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify, recruit, onboard, enable, and manage channel partners and system integrators.
- Collaborate with partners to create and drive pipeline, forecast, and close deals.
- Manage partner relationships, provide ongoing enablement, and resolve escalations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product) to tailor offerings to public sector requirements and procurement cycles.
- Navigate government procurement processes, security requirements, and compliance standards.
- Monitor partner performance, report on revenue, and optimize partner programs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of partner sales or channel management experience in the public sector.
- Proven track record of developing and executing joint go-to-market plans with channel partners.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and pipeline management skills.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and security/compliance standards.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
