Role Overview
The Account Executive will-drive new business for Appian's enterprise platform by engaging prospective customers, executing a strategic sales process, and delivering compelling ROI propositions. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to build tailored solutions that address customer needs and accelerate adoption of the Appian low-code platform.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, including negotiation and contracting.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities.
- Conduct needs assessments and tailor demonstrations with the Sales Engineering team.
- Present business value and ROI to C-suite stakeholders and multiple buying influences.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Success to ensure opportunities are generated and customers are successfully onboarded and adopted.
- Represent Appian in the local market, pro-actively addressing client needs and feedback.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of enterprise software or SaaS sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and a solution-selling approach.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
