Khmer Speech Data Collection - Independent Contractor (Remote)

Earn about $30 in less than 2 hours – Help AI Understand Real Khmer Speech!

In this project, you’ll help improve AI by creating and recording free-speech sentences in Khmer. Your work will make AI tools more accurate and natural.

What you’ll do

▷ We’ll give you topics and keywords. You’ll make your own sentences based on them.

▷ Record 1,000 Khmer sentences (each about 8–10 seconds long) using the Appen Task app.

▷ Make sure you record in a quiet place (like a bedroom).

What you’ll get

▷ $0.03 per valid sentence (1,000 sentences = about $30 total)

▷ Work from home at your own pace

▷ Most people finish in under 2 hours (depending on speed)

What you’ll need

▷ Speak fluent Khmer

▷ A quiet environment for recording

This role is a project-based opportunity with CrowdGen, where you will join the CrowdGen Community as an Independent Contractor. If selected, you will receive an email from CrowdGen regarding the creation of an account using your application email address. You will need to log in to this account and reset the password, complete the setup requirements, and proceed with your application for this project-based role.

Pay rate is based on $USD.
