Senior Web Designer

We are looking for a Senior Web Designer who cares deeply about crafting an elegant and intuitive experience. We recently launched a new logo and your work can impact more than thousands of visitors daily. Currently, we are building up a dedicated web team that would take our web presence to a new level, competing with the best in class.

Apify is built in Prague, but clients come from around the world. From nonprofits and Y Combinator startups to Fortune 500 companies like Microsoft and Samsung and even EU projects. We help clients improve their product, marketing, and business decisions using structured web data and assist with automating repetitive tasks.

Your tasks

• Lead design execution of Apify’s web presence, from simple landing pages to our information architecture

• Take care of the web design system

• Collaborate with Design and other departments

• Proactively audit and co-lead the web team to improve Apify’s web presence while keeping business metrics and all the stakeholders’ needs in mind

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of professional design experience

• A portfolio that demonstrates strong visual taste, cross-functional collaboration, and conveys the impact it had on both business and customers

• Proven experience in independently delivering various web designs

• Organizational and execution skills to lead a small web team consisting of engineers and a product marketing manager

• Strong conceptual thinking paired with an eye for detail, visual consistency, and advanced skills in typography and layout

• Expert proficiency in Figma

• Experience designing for tech companies is preferable

• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments where ambiguity is normal and things change often
