For job seekers
For companies
Set your preferences and let your AI copilot handle the job search while you sleep.
Apify's mission is to make the web more programmable. Why? We believe that humans have better things to do than fill in forms, compile Excel sheets of copy-pasted data, or search social media for hashtags. Those are jobs for a machine.
Apify collects billions of rows of data from all over the world for science, market research, or finding lost children. We make it possible for AI chatbots to interact intelligently, and weโre actively involved in developing novel ways to work with generative AI like ChatGPT.
To support our mission, we're looking for a talented Performance Marketing Lead to help us scale our paid acquisition.
You will own, develop, and execute Apify's paid acquisition strategy across all channels, including PPC, paid social, display, referral, and retargeting campaigns.
You will lead, mentor, and grow a team of existing and future performance marketing specialists, setting clear objectives, guiding their professional development.
You will lead the marketing attribution project in partnership with our Data and other teams to develop and implement a clear multi-touch attribution model, gain organization-wide alignment, and create a functional strategy for optimizing campaigns based on key user events.
Manage the performance marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation to meet or exceed user acquisition, ROI, and cost-per-acquisition (CPA) targets.
Measure, analyze, and report on the performance of all paid campaigns, providing actionable insights and regular updates to the wider marketing and leadership teams.
Continuously test and optimize every part of the funnel, including ad copy, creative, landing pages, bidding strategies, and audience segmentation.
Work closely with our product marketing, content, growth and sales teams to ensure a cohesive user journey from the first ad click to conversion and beyond.
Stay ahead of the curve by exploring and testing new channels, technologies, and trends in the paid acquisition landscape.
You have 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, including paid acquisition (not just PPC campaigns), demand generation, and affiliate marketing, ideally from other B2B technology companies with a product-led growth (PLG) model.
You have a deep, analytical understanding of marketing metrics (CPA, LTV, ROAS) and a proven track record of managing significant budgets while hitting ROI targets.
You are a strategic thinker who can develop a comprehensive acquisition strategy from the ground up, but you're also not afraid to get your hands dirty with campaign execution.
You have a good working knowledge of SQL or other query languages, allowing you to dig deeper into performance data to uncover actionable insights.
You are hands-on and proficient with major advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, X/Twitter Ads), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hubspot, Mixpanel, Segment) and have experience creating and rolling out AI-powered or automated bidding strategies.
You have experience building, managing, and scaling affiliate marketing programs and other performance channels.
You possess a data-driven mindset and a relentless focus on testing and optimization to continuously improve campaign performance.
You possess a strong creative eye, and you can translate data insights into compelling campaign concepts and visual briefs that will resonate with our audience and drive action.
You thrive when collaborating across various teams and can clearly articulate performance results and strategic plans.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
By the end of the first 3 months, we expect you to:
Develop a deep understanding of Apify's offering, our target audiences and current channels.
Build strong rapport with your direct reports, understand their individual strengths, development goals, and analyze ongoing projects.
Conduct a full audit of our current paid acquisition channels, including historical performance, budget allocation, and a thorough review of all creative assets and messaging.
Guide your team in identifying and implementing quick wins to improve the performance and efficiency of existing campaigns.
Establish strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in marketing, data, design, and GTM teams to understand the full user journey.
By the end of the first 6 months, we expect you to:
Develop and present a performance marketing strategy and roadmap, which includes budget forecasts, channel mix, clear KPIs, and a development plan for your team.
Empower your team to execute this new strategy, scaling successful campaigns and launching creative, data-informed experiments.
Implement a robust framework for the team that standardizes testing, measurement, reporting, and the creative briefing and development process.
Take full ownership of the performance marketing function, successfully leading your team to drive user growth and contribute directly to Apify's mission and quarterly objectives (OKRs).
