API Deployment Manager

📋 Description

• Own and maintain relationships with top API partners.
• Own post-sale success: onboarding, adoption, renewal, expansion.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to align Runway API with partners' needs.
• Identify and prototype new markets and opportunities.
• Develop deep technical understanding of our products and roadmap.
• Onboard partners to the API Developer Portal and support long-term expansion.
• Triage and resolve escalations with Engineering on API issues.
• Provide feedback to Product, Engineering and Creative to improve the product.
• Analyze and report partnership performance using BI tools.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in technical customer-facing roles (Solutions Engineering, TAM, or Developer Relations).
• Led complex Gen AI/ML implementations with measurable outcomes.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bias toward action; no task is too small.
• Proven rapid prototyping with AI APIs and iterative customer delivery.
• Translate complex technical concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent presentation and executive communication skills.
• Creative thinker; able to think beyond checklists and playbooks.
• Resourceful; can create structure and work autonomously amidst ambiguity.
• Experience with data tooling and BI (SQL, BigQuery, Retool).
• New York or SF-based preferred.
