Senior Network Engineer - TS/SCI with Polygraph Required

Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to play a key role in the management, optimization, and modernization of a multi-server network. This position requires expertise in network engineering, system administration, and Linux command-line operations to support a secure and resilient infrastructure. The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams to enhance network performance, implement best practices for system compliance, and contribute to long-term design strategies. Additionally, this role involves account management, troubleshooting, and ensuring adherence to Secure the Enterprise (STE)/Secure the Network (STN) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain and support a multi-server network with network engineering, system administration, and Linux command-line expertise.
• Ensure network operational health and perform comprehensive troubleshooting.
• Lead technical initiatives across organizations.
• Support network design and infrastructure modernization efforts.
• Ensure compliance with STE/STN and RMF requirements.
• Manage user accounts and access controls.

Qualifications

Required:

• Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree + 8 years of relevant experience, OR
• Master’s degree + 6 years, OR
• Associate’s degree + 10 years, OR
• High school diploma/GED + 12 years.
• Degree in: Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Experience in network/system administration and one or more of the following:
• Computer or information systems design/development
• Programming
• Cybersecurity, vulnerability analysis, or penetration testing
• Computer forensics, information assurance, or systems engineering
• Experience managing virtualized infrastructure across multi-node and multi-site networks.
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows (command-line required).
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Preferred:

• Experience with Computer Network Operations (CNO).
• Development experience is helpful but not required.

Clearance: TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.

Anticipated Annual Salary Range: $155,000 – $177,000
