📋 Description

• Audit and reconcile ~200 payroll tax filings for five U.S. entities.
• Research variances, resolve tax notices, and file amendments with agencies.
• Maintain organized documentation of audits and research.
• Remote role, up to 40 hours/week, 3 months, $35-$45/hour.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of U.S. payroll tax experience for a large multi-state employer.
• Ability to operate independently with little oversight.
• Self-starter; works with urgency and discretion.
• Advanced Excel: V-Lookup and Pivot Tables.
• Prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (or equivalent).
