We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented digital media specialist to join our team. This position primarily focuses on leading the publishing workflow to the Angel streaming platform and managing the work of the publishing team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in digital media, with a strong understanding of video production workflows and digital asset management. Additionally, 3-4 years of management experience.

  • Your Day To Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead out on department coordination with development, marketing, and media operations to ensure efficient and functional workflows.
  • Publish digital video assets to Angel Studios Streaming platform in accordance with established timelines and specifications.
  • Assist in the Quality Control (QC) process of video assets to ensure they meet technical and content standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including content creators, editors, and producers to support the seamless delivery of video content.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of digital media trends, technologies, and best practices to optimize workflows and efficiencies.
  • Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with other departments to curate publishing calendar
  • Prepare streaming assets for publishing
  • Confirm successful publishing by performing quality control to: verifying audio/video sync, caption sync with dialogue, and identifying any video encoding errors
  • Conduct 1:1 meetings with team members
  • Identify areas of improvement in workflows and work with team members to resolve

  • Qualifications You Need To Have

  • 2-3 years of experience in digital media, video production, or a similar role.
  • 3-4 years of team management with teams of small to medium size
  • Familiarity with video codecs, transcoding processes, and video file formats.
  • Knowledge of basic video/audio troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro) and digital asset management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Additional Information

    Work environment - When in the main office, expect a comfortable, air-conditioned work environment. Team members are issued their own desks, but the office is an open, shared space and can be fast-paced and occasionally noisy.

    Physical demands - Will need to be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

    Position type and expected hours of work - Regular full-time, 40 hours per week.

    Travel required - May need to be able to travel via airline out-of-state or overseas. May need to stand for significant periods of time and/or walk significant distances while traveling or attending events.

    Required education and experience

    Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

    5 years of relevant experience

    Preferred education and experience

    Master’s Degree in a related field
