Summary/objective:
The Exhibitor Relations Manager strengthens Angels’ theatrical presence by managing exhibitor partnerships, optimizing in-theatre marketing, and using data-driven insights to maximize ROI. This highly organized, proactive individual oversees multiple film campaigns simultaneously, ensuring precise, timely, and impactful execution. Through clear communication, analytical thinking, and strong relationship management, the Exhibitor Relations Manager enhances visibility, improves marketing efficiency, and communicates promptly with the sales team to secure greater screen counts and box office success for Angel titles.
Expectations at Angel Studios: Act as a primary point of contact with filmmakers, guiding them through crowdfunding and audience-building, ensuring their success while defending what's best for the brand.Own the success of crowdfunding, distribution, and testing for creators, balancing creative demands with brand profitability.Track and communicate project metrics across campaigns, maintaining communication with relevant parties.Build relationships with influencers to drive brand awareness and ensure alignment with brand voice and contracts.Manage budgets by forecasting, reporting, and controlling expenses, defending profit-driven activities.Oversee and monitor projects to ensure deadlines are met, adjusting plans as necessary.Develop insights by synthesizing data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and marketing efforts.Navigate internal teams to quickly resolve blockers and drive production initiatives to completion.Define and manage the process, timings and outputs of the operational planning framework, ensuring that all marketing functions deliver plans that support the delivery of strategic and commercial objectives.Build relationships with leaders and members outside of the team. Learn to navigate the Angel organization in a way that enables rapid resolution of blockers and development of production initiatives.Must attend and contribute to regularly scheduled staff meetings.Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in the English language required. Additional language proficiency is a plus. Essential functions Exhibitor Engagement & Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with exhibitors, ensuring timely and transparent communication.Relay relevant exhibitor feedback, opportunities, and updates to the sales team to help inform booking strategies and maximize screen count.Coordinate with internal teams to ensure exhibitor needs, approvals, and timelines are met without delay.Oversee multiple theatrical campaigns concurrently, managing all in-theatre marketing elements (trailers, standees, lobby activations, digital assets, and promotions).Ensure campaign materials are approved, shipped, and executed on schedule to secure optimal placement and exposure.Demonstrate strong attention to detail and follow-through on all deliverables.Track and analyze exhibitor engagement metrics (reach, impressions, CTRs, open rates, redemptions, etc.) to assess campaign effectiveness.Use data insights to recommend strategies and allocate marketing spend for maximum ROI.Prepare and share wrap reports and performance summaries to guide future campaigns and budget decisions.Support grassroots activations, advanced screenings, and exhibitor events to strengthen relationships and drive awareness.Represent Angel at key industry conferences and trade shows (CinemaCon, ShowSouth, CineShow, NATO Fall Summit, etc.) as needed.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions
Required Competencies Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in data tools, Microsoft Excel, and Google Drive systems; familiarity with theatrical marketing analytics preferred.Must be able to manage multiple assignments, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions.Resourceful and able to problem-solve and manage tasks with ambiguity.Willing to perform an array of tasks both in and out of the office.Can take feedback on tasks and assignments positively and create better solutions.A quick study, able to pick up new skills and learn how to use new programs.Must participate in setting and achieving regularly scheduled and outlined objectives.Ability to take individual ownership, execute with high energy, share context, insist on candor with positive intent.This is not intended to be a full description of all responsibilities. Required Education and Experience MBA10+ years of cinema/movie theater/cinema management experience/ or in theater corporate office experience.Deep hands on In Theater ExperienceBackground in Cinema IndustryExperience in exhibitor relations, theatrical marketing, or film distribution Preferred Education and Experience Education and Experience more advanced than MBAMBA plus equivalent business/marketing background. Work Environment Work environment - When in the main office, expect a comfortable, air-conditioned and heated work environment.
