Anatomic Pathology Technician

📋 Description

• Serve as Anatomic Pathology Technician for GLP nonclinical studies (Title 21 Part 58).
• Perform necropsies, gross exams, and document tissue descriptions.
• Prepare and dissect tissue samples for pathologist microscopic exams.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment: microtomes, tissue processors, staining, cold storage.
• Adhere to GLP lab protocols and safety for accurate results.
• Collaborate with QA and management to exceed sponsor expectations.

🎯 Requirements

• AA/AS or BS in lab science, biology, neuroscience or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in GLP or clinical labs; neuro-modulatory/BCI experience desired.
• Knowledge of GLP policies and regulatory requirements (FDA, USDA).
• Knowledge of laboratory animal science, toxicology, and histopathology.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize to meet timelines.
• Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
