Role Overview

As the UX Design Manager, you will lead and grow a world-class UX design team, partner closely with product and engineering, and drive user-centered design across Anaplan's platform. You will champion design systems, usability, and accessibility while delivering high-quality experiences that empower customers to plan with confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and scale the UX design team across product areas.
  • Define design strategy, contribute to product roadmaps, and govern design systems.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and research to define user-centered solutions.
  • Plan and conduct user research, synthesize findings, and translate insights into actionable design decisions.
  • Develop wireframes, flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
  • Ensure accessibility and inclusive design across all products.
  • Maintain consistent visual language and brand feel across platforms.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of UX design experience with 2+ years in people leadership (team management or design leadership).
  • Strong portfolio showing end-to-end product design, leadership, and impact.
  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma), prototyping, and creating/designing design systems.
  • Experience leading user research programs and turning insights into design decisions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
