Solution Architect - Finance - Anaplan

Overview

The Solution Architect - Finance at Anaplan is a senior technical consultant who designs and delivers complex financial planning and analysis solutions on the Anaplan platform for enterprise customers. This role is based in London, United Kingdom and involves close collaboration with finance leaders, data teams, and implementation partners to translate business requirements into scalable, high-performance models.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design of Anaplan models for finance functions (FP&A, budgeting, forecasting) and ensure alignment with client objectives.
• Collaborate with customers to gather requirements and translate them into scalable model architecture and data structures.
• Develop, optimize, and govern data integrations from source systems into Anaplan (including APIs and data pipelines).
• Provide technical leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle, including model development, testing, deployment, and governance.
• Partner with customer success teams to ensure successful delivery, performance tuning, and user adoption.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and manage expectations across multiple teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Senior Consultant, or equivalent in finance technology and planning solutions.
• Strong expertise with the Anaplan platform, including modeling, modules, workspace design, and best practices.
• Experience with data integration, APIs, and data governance to support financial planning processes.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, high-performing financial planning models.
