Software Engineer – Full Stack (.NET, Backend-Focused) at Anaplan

Anaplan is seeking a Software Engineer – Full Stack (.NET, Backend-Focused) to join our engineering team. This is a remote role based in Gurugram, India. You will design and implement scalable backend services using .NET, build robust RESTful APIs, and collaborate with frontend engineers, data teams, and product managers to deliver Anaplan's cloud planning platform. You will focus on the backend while maintaining a solid understanding of the full stack.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET (C#)
• Implement data access layers and integrate with databases (SQL)
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver cohesive features
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and design decisions
• Write unit/integration tests, documentation, and participate in CI/CD
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems
• Ensure security, reliability, and performance

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience with .NET/C#
• Backend-focused with some exposure to front-end or full-stack development
• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with relational databases (SQL Server / PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with Git, Agile/Scrum practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
