Product Owner, Core Platform

Job Description

Anaplan is seeking a Product Owner for the Core Platform. This remote role based in Europe will own the product backlog and roadmap for the Core Platform that powers Anaplan's connected planning solutions. You will work closely with engineering, design, data, and business stakeholders to translate strategic goals into actionable requirements and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the backlog for the Core Platform, ensuring alignment with product strategy and company goals.
• Define clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
• Prioritize work based on value, risk, and dependencies; collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, data, security, and operations to design scalable platform features.
• Engage with internal customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
• Monitor product performance and iterate on roadmaps based on data and feedback.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role for a software platform or core platform.
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and product management best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and user stories.
• Experience with defining roadmaps, prioritization, and success metrics.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Remote work experience in Europe is a plus.
