Anaplan is a leading cloud-based planning software company that empowers organisations to make informed, data-driven decisions. We are seeking a capable Capture Manager to join our team in the Washington, DC area.

Role Overview

As a Capture Manager at Anaplan, you will lead and coordinate capture management and proposal efforts for strategic opportunities. You will work closely with Sales, Strategy, Legal, Finance, and Product teams to develop winning strategies and ensure compelling, compliant bid responses.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end capture management lifecycle from opportunity identification through proposal submission.
  • Develop capture strategies, win themes, and competitive analyses to differentiate Anaplan.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assemble high-quality proposals and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
  • Manage timelines, content quality, and resource allocation for bid teams; run kickoff and bid reviews.
  • Coordinate with executives and stakeholder groups to communicate progress and outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to requirements, pricing strategies, and compliant submissions.
  • Monitor market and competitive landscape to continuously improve capture processes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of capture management or proposal development experience, preferably in enterprise software or technology solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and winning bids.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with CRM and proposal tools; proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
