Analytics Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain production dbt models for performance and readability.
• Translate business requirements into clean data models; own reviews and metrics layers.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering on ingestion pipelines and connectors (Fivetran, Streamkap).
• Support a dbt contributor base and help Data Team contributors grow their skills.
• Contribute to the data foundation behind Loop Intelligence, including merchant outcomes and shopper cohorts.
• Self-managing; clear communicator; pragmatic; AI-curious; progress-oriented.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on analytics/data engineering experience.
• 2+ years dbt in production (models, sources, tests, docs).
• Strong SQL skills and data warehouse design experience (Snowflake a plus).
• Familiarity with data ops fundamentals: Git workflows, CI/CD, automated testing applied to data.
• Exposure to ETL/ELT pipelines, connector tooling (Fivetran, Streamkap, or similar), and warehouse optimization.
• Python experience for data transformation or automation tasks (nice to have).
