AP tasks:
- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, statements, credit cards etc. with strong attention to data fields such as currencies, dates, client codes etc.
- Ensuring all invoices are filed and maintained and ledgers kept accurate.
- Paying employees by verifying expense reports.
- Paying vendors by scheduling payment runs and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance.
- Preparing analysis of accounts and producing ad hoc monthly reports.
- Continuing to improve the payment process.
- Reconciling the bank statements for multiple accounts.
- Setting up supplier accounts - ensuring vendor forms are received correctly.
- Assisting in the preparation of cash flow forecasts
- Assisting in audit
- Other ad hoc tasks
When required / support to Global Management Accountant:
- Raising client and
Inter-company recharge invoices.- Chasing outstanding debts with clients, answering queries that have arisen to ensure payment is received
- Chasing outstanding employee / freelancer timesheets weekly
- Help Global Management Accountant with month end accruals and prepayment preparation.
- Help Global Management Accountant with specific Overheads budgeting and forecasting.
- Any other Ad Hoc tasks assisting with Management Accounts.
Requirements:
- Strong, energetic and motivated individual with lots of enthusiasm.
- University graduate with degree in Accounting will be preferable.
- Previous experience working in similar business and industry will be preferable.
- Numerate and analytical with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Good time management and prioritisation skills.
- A self-starter who is flexible and pro-active.
- Good team player with the ability to multi-task.
- Strong, energetic and motivated individual with lots of enthusiasm.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral, to be able to work with people on all levels.
- Ability to problem solve and find solutions.
- Discretion with the conversations held with the information you are privy to.
