Overview

Ambient is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our growing engineering team. This is a remote role based in the USA. You will drive technical strategy, own delivery roadmaps, and mentor engineers to build scalable, reliable software powering Ambient's products.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team across product squads
Define technical vision, architecture decisions, and engineering best practices
Collaborate with Product and Design to shape roadmaps and ensure timely delivery
Establish robust CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, testing strategies, and quality metrics
Hire, onboard, and develop engineers; manage performance and growth
Ensure systems reliability, security, and scalability

Qualifications

5+ years of engineering leadership experience
Hands-on software development experience with strong architecture skills
Experience with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, incident response, and security practices
Excellent communication and ability to work with remote teams
