Role Overview
As a Regional Account Executive, you will drive new business opportunities, manage a portfolio of customers in the Chesapeake region of Virginia, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success and revenue growth. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and post-sale engagement.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Lead product demonstrations and tailored presentations for prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with a focus on customer value and ROI.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline in the CRM and provide regular forecasting updates.
- Collaborate with marketing, customer success, and product teams to drive customer satisfaction and expansion opportunities.
- Travel as required to meet with clients and partners within the region.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS or technology solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a regional or territory-based role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and closing skills.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
