Field Service Technician

Overview

Amarok is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and repair our equipment at customer sites in Columbia, Maryland. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service, repair, and maintain Amarok equipment at customer sites
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and service guides
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations to ensure optimal performance
• Complete service reports and update customer records
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and company vehicle; adhere to safety policies
• Provide clear communication to customers and internal teams

Requirements

• High school diploma or technical degree; associate degree preferred
• 1-3 years of field service or industrial equipment experience
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings; knowledge of hydraulic systems
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; willingness to travel locally
• Strong problem-solving and customer-service skills; capable of working independently
