Amach is seeking a Security Engineering Service Manager to lead our security engineering services practice in Dublin, Ireland. This leadership role focuses on defining secure engineering standards, driving secure delivery for client engagements, and mentoring a high-performing security engineering team.
Role Overview
The Security Engineering Service Manager will oversee security engineering services for client projects, shape security strategy, and ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and client teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the security engineering services team and establish secure engineering practices for client engagements.
- Define architecture guidelines and perform security design reviews for cloud-native solutions.
- Oversee incident response planning, detection, containment, and post-incident analysis.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security testing (SAST/DAST) with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and client teams to ensure secure software development lifecycle.
- Define and manage delivery SLAs and quality metrics; mentor engineers.
- Stay current with security trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years in security engineering with leadership experience (manager level).
- Strong cloud security experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevSecOps mindset.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2).
- Experience with security tooling (SIEM, EDR, SAST/DAST, vulnerability management) and incident response.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
