This role provides leadership in digital marketing: developing and implementing a digital performance strategy to maximise online sales and customer acquisition.
This senior leadership post requires the digital expertise and analytical mind-set of a commercially driven and consumer-focused digital marketing professional. The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding of end-to-end digital consumer channels and buying behaviours, with experience in a fast-paced trading environment.
Working closely with consumer insights, campaign marketing and brand teams, the Head of Growth Marketing & Measurement will ensure all digital channels are optimised and working efficiently through the sales funnel. Channels include search, display, video, social media, affiliates and metas.
Responsible for always-on digital performance marketing, the candidate will also work closely with brand and campaign teams to advise on the performance aspects of digital campaigns and social activity. They will provide digital leadership, drive innovation and best practice, and collaborate with marketing, email and web teams.
Please note that you are expected to be able and willing to work from the Dublin office at least twice a week.
Required skills & experience:
Degree in Digital Marketing or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
8+ years’ experience in digital marketing management, brand growth, and leading teams to deliver on targets.
Proven experience managing multiple agencies and delivering against performance metrics.
Strong technical understanding of digital marketing channels.
Hands-on experience with Google Analytics; Bannerflow knowledge is desirable.
Demonstrated digital innovation and consumer marketing experience with responsibility for revenue delivery.
Experience building online platforms and supporting product development.
Skilled in designing, running, and interpreting consumer research and insights.
Ability to interpret online analytics and large data volumes to increase traffic and conversion rates.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and present commercially driven recommendations.
Role & responsibilities include:
Develop and implement the digital marketing performance strategy to deliver commercial objectives and achieve revenue targets.
Manage implementation across the digital team, ensuring all sales funnel channels are optimised and aligned to KPIs.
Provide digital performance leadership across multiple markets including Ireland, UK, USA and Europe, supporting marketing teams in Dublin and New York.
Increase market share through customer retention and acquisition, driving revenue growth.
Be an expert in analytics and ROI evaluation of online performance.
Collaborate with consumer insights, marketing teams and agencies to enhance segmentation and uncover insights and trends.
Monitor competitors, market developments and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities.
Lead the development of mobile digital marketing strategies.
Diagnose online trading issues and create effective, commercially sound solutions in collaboration with other commercial functions.
Work with the Head of Brand Marketing & Sponsorship to ensure cohesion between always-on and campaign activities, aligned with brand guidelines.
Communicate digital performance successes effectively to stakeholders, showing thought leadership when introducing new technology and approaches.
Develop and deliver an affiliate programme and optimise sponsorship involvement.
Provide marketing support to key partners, offering advice and guidance where mutually beneficial.
