Director of Business Insights – Amach

Overview

Amach is seeking a Director of Business Insights to lead our data and analytics function. In this Dublin-based role, you will shape the company’s data strategy, build and manage a high-impact analytics team, and partner with product, marketing, finance, and operations to translate data into actionable insights. You will design KPI frameworks, create self-service dashboards, ensure data quality and governance, and drive data-driven decision making across the organization. This leadership role requires strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and expertise in BI tools and SQL.

Responsibilities

Set the vision and strategy for Amach’s data and analytics capabilities.
Lead and develop a high-performing BI/Analytics team.
Collaborate with product, marketing, finance, and operations to translate data into actionable insights.
Define KPI frameworks and build self-service dashboards and reports.
Oversee data governance, quality, privacy, and security.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in business intelligence/analytics with leadership experience.
Strong SQL proficiency and data modeling skills.
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate complex data into actionable business decisions.
