Cloud & Infrastructure Manager

Amach is seeking a Cloud & Infrastructure Manager to lead our cloud strategy and operations from our London office. You will own cloud platforms, drive security and reliability, and manage a growing infrastructure team.

Role Overview

Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing operation of multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). Build and enforce cloud security, governance, and cost optimization. Manage a team of infrastructure engineers and collaborate closely with Engineering, Security, and DevOps to deliver scalable, reliable systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the cloud strategy and multi-cloud architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Architect, implement, and operate scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Oversee security, compliance, incident response, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
• Lead incident management and post-incident reviews; drive reliability and performance improvements.
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and technology roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Engineering to automate CI/CD pipelines and advocate for best-practice infrastructure automation.
• Mentor and develop infrastructure engineers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years in cloud/infrastructure roles with 2+ years in leadership or management.
• Deep experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP; strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, and Docker.
• Solid networking, security, identity and access management, and disaster recovery expertise.
• Proven track record of implementing CI/CD workflows and IaC practices.
• Automation mindset with scripting experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-cloud architectures and cost-management tools.
• Familiarity with cloud governance and security frameworks.
