ABOUT THE ROLEThe Student Success Coordinator is a key member of the Student Success Team, responsible for coordinating English Proficiency Tests (EPTs), supporting the English Immersion Program, and contributing to other language support initiatives on the ALU campus. In collaboration with the Admissions and Registrar’s Offices, they will assist prospective students in meeting the B2 level requirement on ALU’s English Proficiency Test—a prerequisite for receiving an unconditional offer of admission. They will also facilitate sessions in the English Immersion Program, a 10-week experience designed to strengthen participants' language skills through a blend of live instruction, independent work, and guided feedback. Additionally, the Coordinator will contribute to broader academic support efforts focused on improving students’ English communication abilities, including reading, listening, speaking, and writing. This role is based in Kigali, Rwanda.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the safety and well-being of all young persons and vulnerable adults with whom we deal, by adhering to ALU’s comprehensive safeguarding policy, maintaining a zero-tolerance approach to any violations of safeguarding standards.
