AlphaSense is seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our growing sales team in New York. In this role you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, initiating contact with prospective customers, and collaborating with account executives to move opportunities through the sales funnel. You will develop a deep understanding of AlphaSense's market intelligence platform and articulate its value to potential buyers in the financial services, corporate, and research sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through cold calls, emails, social outreach, and inbound leads
  • Partner with Account Executives to advance opportunities through the sales pipeline
  • Maintain accurate activity records in the CRM and monitor key performance metrics
  • Deliver effective discovery calls and product communications to prospective customers
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize outreach strategies

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in sales development or inside sales (entry to mid-level)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and strong listening skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach)
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
