Alpaca is a fintech company providing developer-friendly trading APIs and related services. This role sits within our Securities Lending Operations team, focusing on the daily operations, risk controls, and reporting for our lending program.
Role Overview
As a Securities Lending Operations Analyst, you will support the securities lending program’s operations, monitor settlements, perform reconciliations, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with trading desks, treasury, risk, and compliance teams to improve processes and controls. This is a remote-friendly role open to candidates in India.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily securities lending activity and settlements
- Perform reconciliations and ensure data accuracy
- Coordinate with counterparties, custodians, and internal teams
- Support regulatory reporting and audit requests
- Identify process improvements and implement controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field
- 2+ years in securities operations, lending, or a related area
- Strong Excel skills; experience with data analysis and financial systems
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and good communication
