Project Manager

Overview

Alpaca is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive product delivery in a fully remote role across the United States. You will partner with engineering, design, product, and operations to define scope, milestones, and success criteria, and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with company strategy
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource estimates
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery
• Manage risks, issues, and changes; track progress and report status to stakeholders
• Facilitate planning meetings, standups, and retrospectives; maintain governance artifacts
• Maintain project documentation and ensure proper sign-offs
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned

Requirements

• 3+ years of project management experience in software or fintech environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with PM tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar
• Ability to work across time zones in a remote environment
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks; ability to coach teams
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
