Alpaca is seeking a Product Manager for the Japan Platform to define product strategy, prioritize the roadmap, and drive execution for features serving the Japanese market. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric experiences and ensure alignment with market needs. This is a remote position for APAC candidates.

Overview

Lead product strategy and execution for Alpaca’s Japan Platform, partnering with engineering, design, data, and business teams to deliver impactful features for Japanese customers.

Responsibilities

Define the product roadmap for the Japan Platform and translate it into clear requirements.
Prioritize the backlog and manage cross-functional dependencies with engineering, design, and data teams.
Collaborate with marketing, partnerships, and customer-facing teams to ship features on schedule.
Measure product success using relevant metrics and iterate based on data and customer feedback.
Engage with Japanese customers and partners to understand needs and market trends.

Qualifications

5+ years of product management experience, preferably with platform or API-based products.
Strong stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
Data-driven decision making and experience with experimentation and metrics.
Familiarity with the Japanese market or fintech ecosystem is a plus.
