Job Description
Alpaca is seeking a Brokerage Operations Margin and Option Associate to support margin operations and options trading workflows within our brokerage operations team in North America.
What you'll do
- Monitor and manage brokerage margins, ensuring accuracy of margin calculations
- Assist in options trading workflows and settlement processes
- Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and Engineering to optimize operations
- Analyze data to identify margin improvement opportunities and operational risks
- Maintain documentation and ensure regulatory adherence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field
- Experience in brokerage operations, margin management, or options trading
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency with Excel and SQL
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
