Overview
Alma is seeking a Strategic Finance Analyst to join our growing Finance team. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making that supports Alma's mission.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
- Support monthly and quarterly close processes with insightful commentary.
- Collaborate with product, sales, and operations teams to analyze performance, profitability, and KPI trends.
- Prepare board and leadership presentations with clear storytelling and data visuals.
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities using data analytics tools.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, or a related field (SaaS/recurring revenue experience preferred).
- Strong Excel modeling skills and experience with SQL querying and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to synthesize data and present actionable insights to non-technical stakeholders.
