Job Description
IT Engineer 2 at Alma. This remote role focuses on providing reliable IT infrastructure and support for a growing company. You will handle IT operations, incident response, and collaboration with product and engineering teams to ensure secure and efficient technology systems.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain IT systems, networks, and security controls
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and onboarding/offboarding
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, servers, and cloud services
- Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and patch management
- Document configurations, processes, and incidents
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support IT needs
Qualifications
- 2+ years of IT engineering, systems administration, or technical support
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
