Vice President, Strategic Initiatives

Overview

Allworth Financial is seeking a high‑impact executive to serve as Vice President, Strategic Initiatives. This leadership role partners with senior leaders to define and drive company‑wide initiatives that accelerate growth, enhance operations, and strengthen client outcomes for our financial planning and asset management business.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of cross‑functional strategic initiatives that align with Allworth Financial's goals and long‑term strategy.
• Partner with executives across Product, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Compliance, and Technology to scope, prioritize, and track initiatives from idea to value realization.
• Own program governance, milestones, budgets, risk management, and executive communications to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Build and oversee a portfolio of strategic programs, allocate resources, measure impact, and adjust plans as needed.
• Represent Allworth in external partnerships, industry initiatives, and strategic collaborations as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of strategy, corporate development, program management, or related experience in financial services or a closely related field.
• Proven ability to lead large, cross‑functional programs and deliver measurable results.
• MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with the ability to influence at the executive level.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
