Senior Solutions Architect - Transaction Monitoring

Overview

Alloy is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect - Transaction Monitoring to lead the design and delivery of scalable transaction monitoring capabilities for financial crime detection. You will partner with customers, product, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and drive implementation across data integration, rules, and risk scoring.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture for transaction monitoring solutions, including data models, rules, workflows, and integrations with core platforms.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, security, and customer success to translate requirements into scalable, reliable designs.
• Design data flows, APIs, and integration patterns for ingestion, enrichment, and alerting.
• Lead technical discovery, create architecture diagrams, and present solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and guide implementation from discovery to go-live, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with AML/KYC regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture or a closely related role.
• Experience with transaction monitoring, AML/KYC, or financial crime detection.
• Strong experience with data integration, API development, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proficiency with SQL and data modeling; familiarity with ETL processes.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred.
