Algolia is seeking a Senior People Business Partner in New York to partner with senior leadership and scale our people strategy as we grow. This role will lead workforce planning, performance management, talent development, and organizational design across the New York team and North America region. You will advise on people programs, coach managers, and help drive the company's growth in a fast-paced tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to define people strategy that aligns with business goals
• Lead workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and organizational design
• Design and implement performance management, learning and development, and leadership development programs
• Coach managers on employee relations, coaching, conflict resolution, and performance issues
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to drive effective recruiting and onboarding
• Analyze HR metrics to inform decisions and drive improvements
• Ensure compliance with US employment laws and company policies
• Oversee HR operations in partnership with payroll and finance to align compensation and benefits
• Lead change management during periods of growth and organizational transformation

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or People Partner in a fast-paced tech/SaaS environment
• Proven ability to influence and partner with executives and cross-functional teams
• Deep knowledge of US employment law, HRIS and HR analytics
• Strong communication, listening, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Comfort handling sensitive employee relations issues with discretion
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
• Data-driven, strategic thinker with a passion for developing people
