Overview

Akuity is seeking a Developer Advocate to engage with developers and data teams building on our platform. This role blends deep technical knowledge with community storytelling to help users be successful with Akuity.

Responsibilities

Produce high-quality technical content (blog posts, tutorials, sample apps, and demos)
Represent Akuity at conferences, meetups, and webinars
Build, maintain, and contribute to open-source samples and reference architectures
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to collect feedback and improve developer experience
Build and nurture a vibrant developer ecosystem around Akuity
Provide feedback to the product team based on developer needs

Requirements

3+ years in developer advocacy, developer relations, technical writing, or a related engineering role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go, Python, or JavaScript)
Familiarity with open-source communities and events
Strong public speaking and presentation skills

Nice to Have

Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
Prior speaking engagements at conferences or webinars
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
