Role Overview

Akido seeks an ECM Program Manager to lead enterprise content management initiatives from our Bakersfield office. The role partners with IT, Legal, Compliance, and business units to define scope, timelines, budgets, and governance, delivering scalable ECM solutions that support our digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and govern ECM programs from initiation to closure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable roadmaps.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, risks and dependencies.
• Assess and implement ECM platforms and integrations (e.g., SharePoint, Alfresco, OpenText).
• Establish data governance, retention policies, and records management practices.
• Coordinate vendor relationships, contracts and performance metrics.
• Provide executive dashboards and status reporting; drive change management and user adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP/PRINCE2 a plus.
• 5+ years of program management experience, preferably in ECM or information management.
• Strong knowledge of ECM systems, data governance, information architecture and regulatory/compliance considerations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of operating in a dynamic environment.
