Responsible Officer/Executive Director

📋 Description

• Ensure compliance with SFC rules for Types 4 and 9.
• Act as Responsible Officer and Manager-in-Charge for oversight.
• Oversee Airwallex Yield and other capital markets products.
• Support Sales; handle customer queries and grow funds under management.
• Serve as contact for regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders; handle SFC inquiries.
• Participate in Board and Investment Committee meetings.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, economics, finance or law.
• Must be licensed or eligible as RO for Types 4 and 9; fit & proper.
• Holds unconditional RO status for SFC Type 9 with no conditions.
• At least 5 years of management experience in fund management.
• Excellent written and verbal English, Chinese and Cantonese.
• Experience promoting and dealing with retail investment products in the retail market.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience as a Board Director of an asset management firm.
• Deep understanding of the SFO, SFC rules and Fund Manager Code.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Independent and collaborative with integrity and a customer-first mindset.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and fintech innovation.
